The independent learnings of a new teacher in love with books.
Beginnings
Welcome friends! I have started this entry in the global technosphere because I have been in love with books since the age of 2. Among the busy business of being a new teacher, this is my outlet for sharing thoughts on a love of reading a wide variety of books. My inspiration can be summed up with a yearbook quote from a teacher written when I was 8: "To the only girl at recess I see reading a book. Good for you!"
My blog title is quoted from a classmate who asked me this once. Believe it or not, I've also heard it as a teacher :D

Awesome! I just started the entire series again, reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the ?th time! Nothing compares! Swing by my blog for my review. I joined the Harry Potter Marathon, reading a book a month, at the least. It's wonderfully refreshing to delve into that world again.
ReplyDeleteAw! Love it! Love this list and I most definitely agree with everything!
ReplyDeleteBtw.. if you are interested; I'm doing a HP video project! I would love you to be a part of it if you'd like.
Just wanted to let you know I'm following you now from the Literary Blog Directory. My blog is http://www.bookwormfamily.com/ if you want to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI love pretty much everything about Potter! I need to read it again! I'm starting to read it in Spanish now.
This is still one of my very favorite series. I so need to re-read these books!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love this post. You know I've' been re-reading the whole series and I just keep finding more things I love about it. So many wonderful things.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these! I especially love the Weasley family. Whenever my house gets a little out of control, I just tell myself we're just like the Weasley family and it's all okay!
ReplyDeleteI totally love the Weasley family!
ReplyDeleteLove all your reasons, but my favorite is #6!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I remember learning how to pronounce "her-my-oh-knee" too, until then I sounded like Viktor Krum.
ReplyDeleteWoooonderful list!!! I'm finishing up a re-read of Deathly Hallows and started a movie-athon with the kids last night. :)
ReplyDeleteWe're reading the Harry Potter series aloud at my house-- actually, my husband is reading and my kids and I are listening. It's the first time through for me and my daughter and we've heard the 1st two books so far. I'm amazed at the imagination. I loved it when Ron got the Howler.
