Beginnings

Welcome friends! I have started this entry in the global technosphere because I have been in love with books since the age of 2. Among the busy business of being a new teacher, this is my outlet for sharing thoughts on a love of reading a wide variety of books. My inspiration can be summed up with a yearbook quote from a teacher written when I was 8: "To the only girl at recess I see reading a book. Good for you!"
My blog title is quoted from a classmate who asked me this once. Believe it or not, I've also heard it as a teacher :D

  5. Hey, good for you, catching up on all those reviews! I am also, but slowly.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is on my TBR shelf on audio - it's been there for years! I really need to get to it.

Enjoy your books this week -

  7. Jennifer & BookGal~ Thanks!

Leeswammes~ Yes, I certainly see that. It's not something I'd read to 9-year-olds, but I've seen it taught with teenagers and it goes over quite effectively.

Sue~ Whew, yeah that was getting out of hand :D It was a powerful book.

Angelica~ Thanks for visiting! I'll be reviewing it soon as I finished it last night. Amazing book.

Suzanne~ Agreed! Will review it soon.
